Elissa is an active, engaged and dynamic teacher. She creates customized learning experiences grounded in trust, listening and understanding.
After spending a decade in higher education, she expanded her teaching role at the Poynter Institute to develop the College Media Project before co-founding A Picture's Worth, a non-profit focused on storygathering, community-building and education. While she leads and develops workshops and sessions on a wide range of topics, her teaching specialities include:
